Cure for the winter blues take 2

I used a Stampin up embossing folder.

This is a close up of the flowers I hope this helps you to see better how I attached the flowers.
This is take 2 of Moxie Fab's Cure for the winter blues challenge. I love this flower set from Raisin Boat Stamps Stunning Silhouettes # 10062  I go to this set when I want to do a water color effect. This time I used Momento ink markers and colored directly on the stamp with the light blue and then colored right on top of that with the darker blue in the centers with a scribble style, do the stems the same was.I misted the water color paper first and then stamped on it with the colored stamp.( pretty water color effect with out a lot of work.I then stamped a few more and let them dry.I die cut the stamped flowers with a spellbinders die. I punched out the smallest flowers on the Martha Steward flower punch centering the center of the stamped flowers.( you do not have to be perfect with this as you will see as you go along.) I then used a quicky glue pen and put dots on the stamped image where the flowers are and added the punched flower on top of them. When I was done with this I added the pretty blue pearls from Kaiser Kraft in the centers of the flowers.Love how this turned out!!! I embossed the card I die cut with and Accucut die, added the different layers I die cut with spellbinders dies and I also distressed the edges of them with a making memories distresser.Everything was attached with a scotch easy glide adhesive  tape runner and the die cut stamped flower was attached with pop dots. The brad and paper are from My Mind's Eye.
I think this will be my Mom's Mothers Day card. ( Don't tell her!) They don't have a computer so I can't imagine she will ever see this.
I had so much fun creating this card I hope you like it and it inspires you to play with your punches too.

A Cure for the winter Blues Moxie Fab challenge

I had a fun time playing with my punches for this A cure for the winter blues challenge.Spring is just around the corner, right?I love My Mind's Eye 6 x 6 paper packs. So I dug out my packs in search of some pretty spring blues. I spied Miss Caroline with the butterflies on the cover and the ideas started flowing.I dug out my butterfly punch that has been waiting for an opportunity to shine. Today was the day! I punched out a bunch of the tiny beauties from the tiny aqua blue dot paper. I stamped with versa mark ink  the twig wreath from Raisin Boats Thankful set #10229  A fun way to re-purpose a fall stamp set! I then embossed it with copper embossing powder.( I did not have brown) I then die cut the wreath with a scalloped circle spellbinders die. I also die cut the brown mat as well as the doily mat using spellbinders dies.I attached 2 folded sheer ribbons with a small pearl brad.I cut the striped paper to be slightly smaller then the card distressing it around the edges. I put a piece of Crocheted trim from My Mind's Eye at the bottom of the card. I die cut the flower with the carnation die from spellbinders and layered it with some netting flowers I die cut with an Accucut die putting them all together a brad from My Mind's Eye also.I punched out 3 of the larger butterflies and attached them along with the flower on top of the lace.
I hope this melts a bit of your Winter Blues!

My Valentine for my Valentine

I had to share the card I made for my Sweetie for Valentine's Day. I used Raisin Boat stamp set Undies in a Bunch Such a fun set. I stamped the undies on printed paper and then cut them out. I die cut the hearts with a spellbilnder die and then drew a cloths line and added my hearts and undies. I then stamped the sayings and I was done.( I ran the hearts and undies through my xyron and they were all ready to put on my card)
I hope I made you smile.

Moxie Fab paper punch challenge -dream dress....

This is a card I did for Moxie Fab paper punch Challenge.O.k. call me crazy but I dream this dress in my paper crafting dreams.Really, I did dream about using border punched to make this pretty dress.I woke up and went down to my craft room and started digging for my paper punches(specifically border punches) and this is the one I decided on Fiskars Lazy Daisy. I first die cut the dress card with an Accucut die I have from cream card stock. I then punched the edge of the My Minds Eye tiny blue dot paper and then I cut it into a strip and then I repeated this until I had what I thought was enough strips. I did the same with the cream card stock. I used scotch taper glider to put adhesive on the edge of the punched strips and then I layered them on the dress skirt alternating the print and the cream.I then trimmed the side of the dress to cut off the access that hang over the edges.I die cut the top of the dress in the same blue dot and then added some My Minds Eye brads and I tied a pretty little bow of ribbon from Amuse at waist of this pretty paper dream dress.
I hope you like my " Dream Dress"
