Pretty in Pastel JustRite stamps Friday challenge card

I could not get the pinks to show up I wanted the white embossing to shine on the picture so the pinks just kind of fade together and look really pale.
I got my inspiration for this card on Pinterest. I changed it up a bit.I love the cleaver use of spellbinders dies to make the fold over flaps on the card.
I used JustRites Nested Oval Medallion Labels die to cut out the frame and Nested Medallion Labels for the saying they are a nice compliment to each other. First I stamped the frame from the Your special day medallion labels stamp set with versa mark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. I did the same with the Have faith and the Lace border on the Labels 18 mat I cut. I used Follow your heart  Be Happy 6 x 6 paper from My Minds Eye for the card. I sanded the edges to give a shabby chic look. I used a spellbinders dies Bitty Blossoms by Donna Salazar for the flowers and leaves. The butterfly was punched using a Tonic Punch. The dies I used for the fold over flaps were spellbinders labels 18 and Grand labels one.I also added a magnet closer to the flap to keep it closed. I used 2 shades of pink ( I just could not seem to add the brighter pink to this card) and the soft greenish aqua from the green stems and leaves in the picture. I know it was a bit of a stretch but it is suppose to be your interpretation of the inspiration so I hope it passes the requirements.
The challenge this week over at JustRite is soft pastel colors and I love how this turned out. I just love getting ideas from Pinterest and never try then this time I did!!!

Come follow me on pinterest I am addicted and have some great cards I have added to my boards.
Enjoy your Sunday I am off to church in a few minets.I just wanted to get this posted.

Moxie Fab Household item challenge

When dose a taco Bell box, a piece of corrugated cardboard, and a grocery bag look like when you put them together? My take on the Moxie Fab Household item challenge.
I die cut a mat with Spellbinders labels 25  from the Taco Bell box we had for dinner tonight,I embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder.I then die cut a smaller mat from a piece of corrugated cardboard.I then edged them with a sponge dabber and Tim Holt Tea Dye distress ink to bring out the texture. I did the same thing with a even smaller one also embossing it and inking it. I Stamped the Best Wishes ( Raisin Boat Stamp) with versamark ink and embossed it with a copper embossing powder and edging it with ink.
I die cut the flowers and leaves from the grocery bag.( spellbinder die's were used for the flowers as well as the leave's.I edged them with the Tea Die ink on a sponge and then rolled them and put them together with a Thero O Web Zots .I cut the card from Kraft paper and used a corner rounder on the  corner edging it with the tea dye ink.
Taco box from dinner.

Die cut grocery bag edged with distress ink.

Finished card the ultimate in up-cycling!
This was a fun challenge that make me once again think out side the box.
Go dig in your recyle bin and create your own creation. I dare you!

Treemendous Easter Card

Now the card that I did for Easter using the Treemendous stamp set from Raisin Boat. For this card I stamped the tree with Pear Tart momento ink and then stamped the eggs with purple momento ink. I then went over the eggs with crystal effects to give them some dimension.I added a small gingham bow. I used a EK Sucess border punch on the green. I layered everything on the purple paper.
This is a fast and Easy card that is bright and cheery.I hope you like it.

Moxie Fab Trigger Tuesday Card one

Here is my first take on Moxie FabsTrigger Tuesday challenge I used Raisin boats Treemendous which I was using for a Easter Card and happened to notice the one tree in the set was so much like the photo for Trigger Tuesday.I Used Momento ink in colors that went along with the colors in the photo.I then matted it with a gold and rust to make the colors of the tree's pop.
This was a fast and easy card but I like the way it turned out. The stamp is the star of this cardwith it's simple and crisp design.
Enjoy your Sunday.
