A cute window box card

I stamped this cute window with flowers stamp from Lockhart stamps on water color paper and then used my zig water color markers to color it. I cut it out and added it with foam tape to the card front I had stamped with a wood grain stamp from My Favorite things.
This was an easy card and so darn cute.
Thanks for stopping.

Water color crayon flower background

I played with my water color crayons last night. I found a Gena K flower that worked perfect to use for this. I used water color paper I misted it lightly. I colored directly on to the stamp I colored with the lightest color all over then then the blue one I went darker in the center, coloring on top of the lighter color. The yellow one I put the yellow down and then went around the outside edge of the flower with the orange. These are done with the same stamp just different colors. I never washed my stamp but just kept recoloring and stamping until I was done with the area I wanted to fill.
The saying stamp is from Raisin Boat stamps and I embossed it with olive embossing powder.
Getting ready for a demo really has gotten my creative juices going.
  Thanks for stopping in.

Tiny little flowers

I am having fun playing with my zig water color markers. I stamped this little cutie with black archival ink. I can not believe how you can get into such small places with these wonderful markers. I  used my new Just Rite stamps die set. It has the prettiest little vines and I love the small stitched ovals. I also used some spellbinders die's I had waiting to be used again. ( I need to pull some of my pretty Lacey designs more often.)
  Thanks for stopping by.

Easter tulips

I used Gena K's tulip stamps with archival ink on water color paper. I used zig water color markers to color them. I die cut them with a spellbinder egg die. The fun vines are a new Just Rite die set it also has 2 small stitched ovals. I embossed the back ground to add a bit of texture.
Thanks for stopping in. I hope you are inspired to make some Easter cards.

Twinkling H2o's pretty dress cards

I played around with my Twinkling H2O's on the dress's. I used water color paper and archival ink. I added a few dots of stickles for a bit more bling. I don't think the pictures show how shimmery and pretty they look.

Thanks for stopping in,

Water color poppies

I opened my mail yesterday and to my surprise it was a card I had made. I had sent in several cards about 2 years ago to Scott publications and quite a few were published I had totally forgot about them. This one will be in the Just Cards magazine. I am currently working on getting samples ready for a water color demo I am doing at a stamping event for next weekend so this will be a nice addition to my samples.
I used Raisin boat stamps Field of Poppies and misted it with water after coloring to get the pretty bleed out of the colors. The seamstress in me added the black stitching which really adds a nice touch of detail to the finished card.
I like to say it is the little things in life and this was one of those fun little things to find in the mail.
  Thanks for stopping by.

A cute little hearts and owl Valentine treat

Just a quick post with a picture of the cute owl and heart box's I made for my daughters 5th grade Sunday school class she teaches. I printed the paper on card stock from Paper Whimmsies . I die cut them with an accucut die and then printed and cut out the owls and glued them on some red hearts I had die cut,a little bakers twine and they were done fast and easy.
I hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day.

Zig Water Color cards for demo

I am preparing for a fun weekend of Stamping and chatting and learning with a fun group of gals that have met together for 11 years now. We started out Angels with a stamp company called The Angle Company even though the company is no longer we still are meeting once a year in March for what we call the Madison Mingle. The projects are now made with all different stamps from all kinds of stamp companies. I am wowed every year with the creative projects that people come up with. I always learn something new and get my stamping mojo on.
I am doing a demo this year with the zig water colors and a few other water color techniques. I plan on posting some of my projects on my blog so people can go here to refresh there minds on what I showed them.So thanks for stopping in I hope you learn a new tip or idea.
These two cards are very simple but yet pack a big punch of color. I stamped some outline flowers I had in my stash from Stampin up.( Go through your stash and find some outline stamps I am sure you probably have some) I stamped them with Archival ink on water color paper.I then outlined the inside of the flowers and pulled the color out with a water color brush.I went back and reinforced the darker color in the centers using the same pen for the blue and orange card. For the pink and yellow flowers I went back with a darker shade of the same color and lighly added a tad bit of color and pulled it outward to blend it.
The pretty scripted Happy Birthday is from Raisin Boat Stamps All the write words I love this set nice simple script to used on a card.
     Thanks for stopping.

Sweet Valentine treats

These are the cute little Valentine treats I made for my daughter and her friends in Denver. She has family dinner with friends every Sunday evening after helping with Special Olympics Gymnastics.
They are a stamp I had in my collection. I colored them with Copic markers and added a fun little rhinestone in the center of the flower. I used a Sizzix die for the  little bag topper.
I hope this inspires you to make some fun treats for your sweeties.

Some sweet tweets for my peeps

I managed to make some cute little Valentine treats for the ladies in my Monday night bible study. I used Raisin boats cute little bird stamp from the stamp set Tree's Company  I stamped them on water color paper and then went around the inside edges  with water base markers and then used a brush dipped in water to pull the color in for a soft look. Very easy and a nice finish. I then cut them out and attached them to my little box's I had made.I added a cut sentiment and some fun rhinestone heart stickers. I put in some Dove hearts and tied it all up with some pink bakers twine.
I think they will enjoy a little surprise for Valentines Day.
   Thanks for stopping.

Valentine pop up card

I am finally getting some cards posted. I made these cuties for our youth group leaders for Valentines day. This year I am trying to use things that have been collecting dust in my craft room so these are all old stamps I have. I colored them with Copic markers. I die cut the card using an accucut die called pop up ornament.
I am posting these on a facebook Valentine challenge.
Thanks for stopping in.
