From the Heart....

These are some little goodies I did for my daughters yourth group leaders for Valentines Day. I die cut some fun flower paper from Doodlebug designs called Lovebirds using a spellbinders large scalloped oval die.I stamped the saying circle from Raisin Boats TeaTime Treats with red ink and the fun heart from Raisin Boats Playing Cupid stamp set. I die cut this with a small scalloped circle die and then I edged it as well as the folded large scalloped oval with red ink on a sponge.
These were fast and easy and so bright and cheery. A little something to show how much we appreciate all our youth group leaders do for our kids.
   Thanks for stopping.

A cup of love for you

I made this card for my hubby for Valentines Day. I love this set from Raisin Boat stamps called Cup of love I added the spilling hearts for a companion set Just add love I used Copic markers to color it and sponged the edge with red ink. I used spellbinders die to cut it out.
A fun little  twist for this set but I think it makes a great Valentine card.
I think he will like it.

I love challenges....

I love challenges they get my creative juices going so this card is sketch challenge over at Stamp TV as well as a Anything goes Challenge over at JustRite stampers.
I stamped the flower on water color paper and then colored it with water color penclils and blended with an aqua brush. I die cut my card with and Accucut die and then embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder for SU and then added 3 rows of score lines at the bottom with my score pal. I die cut the doily with a die- namics die by MFS and I die cut the circle with a spellbinders die. I used a spellbinders die for the end of my stripe by sliding it under the die so it only cut the end. I added a tiny flower on the side to give it that finishing touch along with adding some dots of pearl pen on the center of the flowers.
The pretty flowers help to brighten up a gloomy, cloudy day here so I hope it dose the same for you!
  Thanks for stopping.

Moxie Fab make your own background card 2

I wanted to come up with a tone on tone background for this card so I used one of the the small Fleur's that came in the JustRite stamps set Botanical Medallions and banners I stamped it with a darker shade of green on my distressed paper back ground. It helped to break up the plain solid background and worked nicely with the floral medallion I colored and die cut.
I used JustRite stamps and Copic markers to color the flowers.
I hope you find some time to stamp or color this week.
Thanks for stopping.
