A Bunny banner and treat box

I used liquid applique for the tails and heated it to puff it up

This is a Bunny banner I made with spellbinders lacy banner and Sizzix rosette die. I used Raisin Boat paper and the bunny is from the set Spring in the Air I also used My Mind's Eye paper for the paper piecing of the bunny. The small favor box is from Accucut.
Hope you are enjoying the great weather we have here in the Midwest.
Have a Blessed Easter.

I can final share my secret I am Moxie Fabber of the Week!!

Wow, I was like a kid waiting for a big day. I have had to wait to share my fun news about being asked by Cath over at Moxie Fab to be Moxie Fabber of the Week. I can’t wait to share this with my fellow paper crafters who will really understand my excitement. Telling my husband didn’t give me the reaction I really wanted. His reaction was kind of like the soup commercial where the gal who lost weight asks to talk to a woman.
I stop in almost every morning at the Moxie Fab blog to get my shot of paper crafting caffeine. Some days, it is a shot of fun colors or maybe a jaw-dropping beautiful picture to inspire us to think outside of our box. I can’t forget the fun giveaways she has, too. If you want to know what is new or what you need to start saving for, Moxie Fab is the place to find it. Cath’s whimsical and creative ways make me laugh and save me lots of time searching Pinterest. (I cannot imagine the hours she puts into scouring the boards over there.)
I will be sharing some fun Easter treats with you in the coming week using some of these fun Accucut die cut favor box's. So be sure to stop back for some fun ideas.
To celebrate, I would like to give you a chance to win some blog candy with me. I love to do treats and favors for our youth group leaders, my girls, or the girls in the gymnastics class that my older daughter teaches. So I would like to give away a packet of die-cut favor boxes, which I cut using my AccuCut Dies in pretty pastels, for you to create some Easter treats for someone special in your life. I thought I would throw in some fun Kaiser pearls, as well as my favorite Fiskars Micro-Tip scissors to get your spring projects going.
So for a chance to win, just sign up to follow my blog -- or if you already do, just leave me a comment and I will add you to the drawing. I will pick the winner next Monday!
Thanks for stopping and sharing in my exciting news. As I like to say, “It is the little things in life that make it exciting.” This is one of those “little” things that is big for me.

O.K. O.K. I know another Cure the blues challenge project!!

I just had one more idea floating around in my head for Moxie Fabs Cure for the winter blues card challenge. This one is more subtle on the blue but it is a nice pop of blue. I colored my stamp with momento ink markers and then stamped it on some water color paper I had spritzed slightly with water. I used Spellbinders dies to cut things and a Sizzix embossing folder for the card. I like the subtlety of the cream on cream  textures for the background. I think it really adds to the simplicity of the blue flower. The stamp I used is one of my favorite stamps and one of my first stamps from Raisin Boat stamps called Stunning Silhouettes.

I hope it inspires you to pull out your embossing folders and flower stamps to make your  own cure for the winter blues.

Blue Bunnies ?

Blue Bunnies? You read it right.I have been working on some Easter treats which I will be sharing soon and decided to play with a card idea. I am going to enter this into the Moxie Fab cure for the winter blues challenge. ( I know I have a few others, but this is just so much fun ) You will see this cute little bunny more when I post more of my Easter projects but for now he is in a card. I stamped the bunny on some My Mind's Eye patterned paper and cut him out. ( 3 different blue designs. ) I went around the inside edge with a slightly darker shade of blue Copic marker to add some dimension to the bunny.I ran the card through a embossing folder and then layered the blue and ivory paper on top adding the bunnies with a quickie glue pen. It is a fast and simple card but fun. It would be great for Easter or a new Baby.
The stamp is from the Raisin Boat stamp set Spring is in the Air.
Hopping this helps cure the winter blues for you today!
I used liquid applique on the bunnies tales. It is heated up to get it to get all puffy.

More Blue for Moxie Fab challenge

I used Thankful by Raisin Boat Stamps for the wreath and a Martha Steward punch for the butterflies.
This is another card I did for the Moxie Fab's cure for the winter blues challange. I usually don't use much blue but I have been having fun with the different shades of blue. This is a take on the other wreath card I did with flowers this time I used butterflies. This is a stamp set that came out for Thanksgiving called Thankful  over at Raisin Boat stamps and I give it new life for spring.
I embossed the twig wreath with bronze embossing powder and then die cut it and the green mat with spellbinders scalloped circle dies. I stamped some of the greenery on top of the twigs. I then punched out the butterflies and glued them on to the wreath with a quickie glue pen, bending the wings up a bit for dimension.I embossed the blue background and then slid it under one side of a spellbinder die to give a fun edge on one side.I stamped the saying on the bottom right hand corner.
I hope this helps chase away the winter Blues for you.
Make some time to play this week.
