Quick and easy treat toppers for Valentines Day

I used a variety of Spellbinders dies that were rectangle in shape and then cut ones to fit my bags. I cut some from fun printed paper and a plain one which I ran through a embossing folder. I stamped some fun goodies from Raisin Boats stamp set Tea Time Treats I stamped things with red ink for a fun look. I stamped the little cup cakes with grey and then colored them with Copic markers and cut them out. I die cut some fun red mats for behind them from various Spellbinders dies.I then added some goodies to my bags and attached them to the bag toppers. Very fast and fun. A great project to make with kids or to give to kids.
Why not play with your spellbinders dies and see what you can come up with for a bag topper!

Moxie Fab window card challenge card

I this is a fun card I did for Moxie Fabs window card challenge. I die cut the heart from a card from DCWV ( the box's of cards with fun prints that come with envelopes.) I then die cut a white scalloped heart the size larger then the one I cut from the card. I then carefully layed the original heart die I used to cut the window in my card and cut it out of the white scalloped heart. I then attached that white scalloped frame on the window I cut out of out of my card. I then used a pop dot to attache the cute little cup cake I stamped from Raisin Boat stamp set Tea Time treats I colored it with Copic markers.
I hope you like this simple little window card.

This is a card I did for my Mom's Birthday on Friday. I used  JustRite stamsp for all of the elements of this card including the background music. I embossed the frame with a pearl embossing powder on a lavender craft ink. It really is a pretty look. I stamped the flower on water color paer and then colored it with water color pencils.I die cut it wirh a spellbinder die and then sponged the edge with lavender and tan ink . I added small dots of pearl pen in the centers of the flowers. I then sprayed it with goosebumps, a clear glaze with a bit of shimmer . I stamped the card with a music back ground stamp in lavender ink and then I edged it with a tan ink to age it.I cut some small strips of textured paper and layered them under the matted flower. I then added the green rayon hem tape bow at an angle on the top of the card.I found these fun flowers in with some rhinestones.
I hope you like my card My February birth stone is Amethyst so I went with the pretty lavender on her card.
Find some time to play in your craft room this week!

I die cut it with a spellbinders circle die and then die cut a grey mat to go under it.I punched the border from the same grey paper with a Fiskars border punch.I embossed the pretty pink paper with the fun x and o embossing folder by Sizzix.( My new favorite) I put it all together on the card and then stamped Happy Valentines Day on the bottom right corner and I was done.I hope you like the pink and grey together it was a bit out side of my box but I am loving it now.
Have a great day and find some time to play with your Valentine stamps.

Moxie Fab backgrond challenge Kitty Valentine

I had fun playing with some new color combo's for me for a Valentine card. I played with pink and brown and I like it. I stamped the background with a small heart stamp from Raisin Boats stamp set Playing Cupid I stamped it diagonally on the paper starting in the middle and working my way out on each side. I find this helps to keep it even yet look random.I sponged the edge with the brown Momento ink,I embossed the brown paper with a fun embossing folder by sizzix and then cut it and used a corner rounder , I cut a pink mat a bit bigger and then also used the corner rounder on it. I edged the pink with a sponge and brown ink also.I also cut a stripe of pink and sponged the edge of it with brown ink and then added a fun pink gingham ribbon I added this to the middle of the card and then the mats. I stamped a cute little cat from Raisin Boats stamp set Wild about Ewe Honey. I colored it with copic markers, I cut it out and then attached it to the mats with foam tape.
I hope you find some time to play with your stamps to make your own background for the challenge over at Moxi Fab.
    Keep warm!
