Sharing some treats I made.

I finished wrapping caramels this morning before I headed to work so I could finish up the fun mugs I did for my daughters youth group leaders for Christmas this year.I am making a baked potato bar for them for dinner tonight so I wanted to have this done for them.
I did a simple tag with spellbinders tag die and the stamp set that came with it.I added some holly leaves and a few dots of red glitter berry's and tied the tags on with some bakers twine and a red jungle bell. The mugs were a find I got a Michel's at the end of summer for .90 each. I added a hot coco mix and some candy canes as well as my homemade caramels.
I hope you find some time to do a little something something for someone special this holiday season.
    Have a Blessed Christmas.

A simple tree some glitter a card is born

I have been playing with some nit quite done projects I had in my some day drawer. I like how this one turned out. Not a typical Christmas card. All of the stamps I used are Raisin Boat. I stamped the tree and snow flakes with brown ink and then I went over them with a glitter pen.I matted it in Red and then added some tiny birds from a border punch I have.I need something else so I stamped the Merry Christmas on the same kraft paper as my card base and matted it in the same red I used for the mat and birds. I also went over the words with glitter pen.
I hope you like it and are getting all of your Holiday goodies done. The invasion of the snowmen is almost complete at my house. Next comes the tree and mantle.Oh some goodies with be baking in the background
.We will end the day with our family tradition of going to our Capital in Madison WI to see the Christmas pageant and Tree and hear some beautiful Christmas music.
Thanks for stopping I will be entering this over at Raisin Boats Christmas and Holiday Challenge

Winter Wonderland collage card

I pulled out some some day projects to finish up from last year. This was a card I started with a collage technique with a vintage feel. I stamped the snowman and sled first and then the word wonderland with the brown ink and then I stamped the snowflakes with grey ink. I colored the scarf, carrot, pipe and sled with copic markers. I rounded the corners and sponged some red ink around the card to make the red scarf and sled pop. To make things sparkle a bit I added some glitter pen on the words, and snowman, as well as a few rhinestones on the snowflakes.I attached this to a bronze/gold metallic card stock.

All of the stamps are from Raisin Boat #10182 Believe in Christmas and,  # 10225 Wonderland wishes.I used Momento ink.I am entering this card in 2 challenges. One is Raisin Boats Christmas and winter challenge and Mod squad challenge blog snowman challenge.
Thank you for stopping and be sure to pop over to the 2 challenges to see what other fun projects people have made to inspire you.

Warm and cozy snowman tag

I made this tag for Mod Squad Challenge Blog snowman challenge as well as Raisin Boat stamps Christmas and Holiday challenge.
It is a simple tag I rounded the corners and layered a bit of olive green paper under the brown check. I stitched around the tag with red thread and I added a large eyelet at the top of the tag.The snowman was stamped and colored with momento ink and Copic markers and cut out, The snowflake was punched out of white paper.
A little tip, I went around the snowman with a light grey maker it makes the snowman pop a bit giving him some dimension.
  Thanks for stopping.

Fast and simple Thanksgiving card

I wanted to do a Thanksgiving card for my husbands Aunt and Uncle who are hosting Thanksgiving and I was a challenge over at Mod Squad Challenge Blog Timed challenge one layer card. Game on so here is my card. I used a Gena K stamp by Rupa I had in my stash. I stamped the saying and then the acorn. I then used water color pencil to color in the acorn and done! It took me 3 minuets and 43 seconds. I took more time looking for my stamp set to use.
Love how you made me think out of my box Mod Squad Challenge blog.
I think I might just make a few more now that I found my stamp set!!
   Have a Blessed Thanksgiving.

A little Thanksgiving treat

I like to do a little something for my Brothers grand kids for holidays. We don't get to see them to much though out the year so it is just fun for me to get crafty for the kids.
This was a fun 2 stamp set by Unity stamps. I stamped the turkey and colored it with momento markers and cut it out. I stamped the saying and then added a fun turquoise mat.The treat bag holder is basically a 1/2 sheet of paper cut the long way and scored to fold over. I stamped some leaves I had with a caramel color ink all over the bag holder. I filled a small bag with candy corn for in the inside.I cut and boarder punched some scraps of rust paper and attached it along the edge of the flap for another pop of color. I attached the turkey with foam tape to add some dimension
I think the kids will enjoy their little treat.
Thanks for stopping. Safe travels and have a Blessed Thanksgiving.

Mod Squad Doily challenge card

I knew what stamps I would use right away when I saw this challenge over at Mod Squad challenge blog.  I love this stamp set by JustRite called Lace Medallion Labels and the Lace background stamp the goes well with it.
I stamped the background stamp and the medallion on Kraft paper and embossed it with white embossing powder. I die cut the medallion with the matching die from Spellbinders. I die cut the smaller size from plain kraft paper. I stamped and embossed the saying from JustRites cupcake wishes stamp set.I die cut it with a circle die from spellbinders and I also die cut the small doily and put it under the circle. To add dimension I used foam tape to put the medallion on the card.
The lace doily is the star of the show for this card. I hope you enjoyed this fast and fun embossed card. Be sure to pop over to Mod Squad Challenge blog to see the other talented paper crafters cards.

Embossed Christmas gift card holders

I kept on playing with my embossing powder and decided to get some gift cards ready for the upcoming Christmas season. These 2 were die cut with Accucut gift card die using Kraft paper. I then stamped a back ground Elegant Fronds from JustRite I also embossed the ornament from JustRite and the ribbon from Ribbons, tapes and lace with a pretty green pearl embossing powder.
I cut the embossed ribbon piece in 1/2 and matted it with the kraft paper under the ornament.( I did this because it was too short to fit across the width of the card.) I used pop dots to add the ornament.
I embossed the holly stamp randomly on the card and embossed it to make my own background. I stamped the ornament and embossed it as well. ( I die cut it with the coordinating Spellbinders die.) I used the same trick of cutting the embossed ribbon and hiding the space under the ornament to make it fit on the card.
I hope you learned a new trick today with the too short embossed ribbon by cutting to make a too short piece to fit.
I will be entering these in the JustRite Christmas blog hop Friday Challenge, and Mod Squads favorite Technique challenge.
  Thanks for stopping

Simple embossed Kraft and Burgandy Christmas card

I just kept on playing with my embossing powders and background stamps after I finished my brothers card. This time I kept with the Kraft paper and then embossed with a pretty burgundy pearl embossing powder. I used Elegant Fronds background stamp by JustRite. I also stamped the ornament from JustRite's Noel Christmas Ornaments stamp set, which I die cut with the Spellbinders that coordinates with it.
I used a corner rounder on the corners of the embossed piece. I then cut it toward the bottom and then cut off about 3/4 of an inch. I then attached it to the card leaving the space between the 2 pieces for the words to fit.I then attached the ornament on the side with foam tape. This was a simple and easy card that could easily be made in volume for Christmas cards.
This is a card I am entering over at JustRite for their Christmas card linky party for their Friday challenge. and over at Mod Squad Challenge blog favorite technique challenge.
Thanks again for stopping and I hope this inspires you to start your Christmas cards.

Pretty embossed fall leaves

This is a card I made for my twin brothers birthday which is on the 30th. Pretty but yet not too feminine.
I stamped JustRite's Autumn leaves background stamp on Kraft paper with versa mark ink.I then used a pretty orange pearl embossing powder.I stamped the saying from JustRite's Cupcake wishes stampset and embossed it on the bottom of the card along with a flourish. I then added a ribbon on the top embossed layer of the cart ( I cut it a bit to leave space at the bottom of the card to put my saying.
I die cut the oak leave and then rubbed versa mark on it and embossed it with the orange pearl embossing powder.I attached it with foam dots onto the card.
I love to emboss and this background stamp was just screaming to be embossed in this pretty orange pearl embossing powder. I am entering this in Mod Squad challenge blog Your favorite things contest. You are to make a card using your favorite card making technique. Embossing is on the top of my list.

A crunchy, tasty thank you fall treat wrapped up in warm fall colors

I finished up some fun thank you gifts for the youth group leaders that my daughter is working with this year.I had bought the plaid paper at Tuesday Morning for a really good price. I used my fry box die from Accucut to cut them out. I stamped some leaves and Acorns with some old TAC stamps and colored with water color pencils and then cut them out and popped them on with foam tape just under the raffi bows I tied around the box.
A friend had told me about a great pumpkin pie spice popcorn recipe.I made 2 batches ( so good) and then bagged it up and put it in the box's. ( Hint put the bag in the box and then fill it, works much better that way) The recipe can be found on pinterest just put in pumpkin pie spice popcorn. or caramel corn and it should come up with several.
I hope this inspires you to make some goodies for the special people in your lives.
  Thanks for stopping.

You have been Boo'd tag

This is a tag I did for Raisin Boat stamps Halloween challenge #27, and Mod Squad Challenge blog Sweet tooth. Halloween and Sweets a great combination!!
I used Raisin Boats Frosted Frights stamp set.I colored the cup ghost cup cakes with copic markers and cut them out and popped them on the tag with foam tape. I die cut the tag and did faux stitches on the tag with a Momento marker.I added a fun washi tape across the bottom. The sayings were bent or shaped on the clear block to allow for a fun whimsical way of stamping the saying on the tag.
It was nice to get a project done in between all of the wedding dress's I have to work on (24 left until I start slowing down) I hope you like it. This is a fun tag to put on a bag of goodies for a neighbor or co-workers.
Oh don't forget to put on the google eyes for even more fun!

a tiny touch of gingham

A little goes a long way. That goes for the stripe of gingham on this get well card. I stamped the flower and colored it with Copic and die cut it with a spellbinders die and I then hand cut a tiny green mat.The front of a card I did a bit of dry embossing. I did a polka dot border on the side and the Hexagon a size larger then the matted flower on the front. I added the skinny stripe of gingham along the edge of the embossed polka dot.To finish it off I stamped the saying on the bottom
I love the texture on this card it really adds some interest to the focal point of this card with out distracting from it.
I will be posting this on the Mod Squad Challenge Blog's gingham challenge. Stop on by and see all of the other fun cards that people have made.

A simple elegant frame with a poppie

Simple but striking too. I love how this card turned out. ( I say that a lot don't I?)
As I had said in previous posts I color and then cut out my stamped images and wait for time to create a card with them. This one I wanted to pop the color of the poppies and I found a lovely raspberry scarp of card stock that was a perfect accent with the poppies.I cut a strip of green gingham and then scored the card top and bottom of where I was going to place the gingham. It kind of framed it. I then attached the oval matted flowers.( oh I added the simple small sentiment " so sorry") I used a sympathy saying inside the card.
This will also me entered over at Mod Squad Challenge Blogs, gingham challenge.
I think you would enjoy the other entries so why not pop over and check them out.
Thanks for stopping and have a great day.

Pretty pink poppie

I had stamped a page full of poppies at a stamping weekend months ago and colored them while watching T.V. awhile ago.I cut some round some oval ,etc. I then played with mats and colors and this one need a pop of color and the gingham was just the ticket for this card. It brought out the green in the stem.
I stamped the flower and colored it with Copic markers and then die cut it and the mats with Spellbinder die's. I cut a piece of gingham as well as the black mat and then used a corner rounder to each of the corners. I think this helped the design flow better. I attached the layers to the card and then added a fun thinking of you saying at a slight angle on the bottom right hand corner.
This card will be entered over at Mod Squad Challenge Blog for it's gingham challenge.

Sunflowers and gingham

I know another post by me. It is wedding season so I don't get too much time to play in my craft room. But I had a stack of almost done cards on my table and a few hours for me.The funny thing is several of them had gingham accents in the mix so when I saw the  Gingham Challenge over at Mod Squad Challenge Blog I had to finish them up and enter them.
For this one I had played with a new embossing folder with a scalloped lace on each side of the card. I then cut a piece of yellow gingham in the middle. I had stamped and colored some pretty Sunflowers from JustRite stamps so I cut them out. I stamped the thinking of you on a tiny polka dot paper I found in my scraps with brown momento ink. To make it stand out a bit more I sponged the edge with the brown ink.The oval saying was attached in the middle of the gingam and then used some pop dots to raise up the flowers I added on the right and left sides of the saying.
I have an elderly custom in mind to send this card to. I think it will help brighten her day. She lost her husband a few weeks ago.
Well I have a few more gingham cards to post so I better get going before the family gets up.
   Thanks for stopping.

Vintage lace and Kraft

Burlap and lace are all the rage for wedding decor right now. I do alterations for my real job and I have 28 gowns that I am working on right now. I hear all about the decor of the brides weddings. So fun to hear what they have found on pinterest. Well when I saw the challenge #119 Get Krafty on JustRites blog I had to play with my new stamp set Lace Medallion Labels.
I samped the lace backgound stamp by JustRite stamps with versa mark ink and then embossed it with white/ivory embossing powder on kraft paper. I cut around the edges and attached it to a Kraft card. I stamped the medallions on kraft paper and also embossed them and cut them out.I used the matching die to cut out a mat for the lace medallion that I fussy cut to get close to the edges. I fussy cut the smaller one also but I left a small border so it would show up more when layered on the card. I attached the layers on the top of the lace card front. This would be a great card for a thinking of you, thank you,or even a Mother's Day card. I exudes warm feelings and simpler  times.
I plan on making a few of these to have on hand when I need a card to send  to say I am thinking of you.
   Thanks for stopping.

Krafty and blue a great combination

Blue distress ink combined with Kraft paper make for a pretty combanation.I stamped the shabby music notes  from JustRite stamps on ivory paper with versa mark ink and them embossed it with white/ivory embossing powder. I cut around it with a deckled scissors to add to the vintage look I was after. I rubbed blue distresss ink all over and then edged it and added some spots of tea die distress ink.I attached it to a Kraft card front. I stamped the lace from Lace Medallion Labels stamp set for JustRite stamps on kraft card stock with versa mark ink and then embossed it with white/ivory embossing powder and ut it out and layered it on the bottom of the card cutting it to fit. I die cut the hearts from light blue printed card stock and then edged it with the tie die distress ink. I added the hearts on top of the lace raiseing on up with pop dots.
This would be a wonderfull Wedding or Anniversary card or a love note to someone special.

Simple card one stamp and saying??

This is a card I did with just one flower stamp and one saying.I stamped the saying on the card and then stamped the flowers on the cards in a random way as to fill the whole card. I used a momemnto flannel grey ink to give a soft look to the flowers. I colored them with Copic markers in soft muted colors. The stamps are from JustRite stampers ( Botanical Medallions and Banners). This was a stretch for me. I love how it turned out. Spring purse card ready for Easter

I am still coloring flowers trying to get in the spring mood here. I had some purse cards setting around and I decided to use them as my card base. I embossed the bottom of the purse with a sizzix embossing folder. I then stamped my flowers on a circle of water color paper and one all by it self that I will cut out. I used water color pencils to color them. I cut out the one flower I had stamped on it's own. I die cut a doily from some pastel paper. I layered the doily, flower circle and then the single flower( with a pop dot) on the front of the purse flap.I added some sheer ribbon for the handle and I ended up with a very spring looking purse card. I did 3 different colors just for fun. I can not decide which one I like best.
I thinks this will be a nice spring card to enter over on Mod Squads challenge blog think spring challenge.Share Our Badge on Your Blog!

Pretty pink roses

Well I am longing for spring like many of you out there. I pulled out some flower stamps to get me in a better mood.Pink makes me think of spring and all the things that spring brings like Easter,Weddings, first communions,Proms.
This card is a pretty pop of pink with the roses colored with water color pencils on water color paper. I did a little masking with the rose stamp to pull the flowers into a tighter arrangement. I matted them with a pretty spellbinders pink mat and then to give it an even softer pink look I attached it to a soft pink gingham paper.
The stamp I used is a rose from Raisin Boats Blissfull Blossoms
Pull out some of your flower stamps and play it will hopefully give you some joy and hope that spring is coming.

Antiqued Hydrangea card

This is one more card for JustRite's #114 Botanical Bliss blog challenge. I colored this flower with Copics also and air brushed around it. I added some pretty cream rhinestones to the center of the flowers.I stamped my Medallion frame with brown ink on a tiny gingham print paper and die cut it with JustRites dies designed to coordinate with their stamps and made by Spellbinders.I layered the oval and the medallion. I stamped the background of my card front with JustRites Elegant Fronds background stamp. I rounded the edges of the card and sponged them to give a more aged look. I then die cut a small green print paper with the pretty lacy rectangle die from Spellbinders. I sponged it's edges before attaching it to the card and layering the flower and medallion mat on top of some vintage lace that I added in the middle of the card..My goal was to have a vintage aged feel to this card and I think I achieved that look.
Once again I would suggest you check out the other wonderful cards over on the JustRite blog challenge.

Pretty yellow Iris card

Bold and bright that is what this card is. I stamped the iris from JustRite's Botanical Medallions set and colored it with Copic markers. I air brushed it when it was still in the die. I matted it with a pretty lacy oval and the bright and cheery yellow gingham print. I added a simple "ribbon" of diaginal striped paper to pull the whole thing together. I die cut the side of the green with a pretty Spellbinder border die and then sponged over it to "age" the ivory card stock the showed through. I love  how the iris is the star of the show on this card the green really makes it pop.

Sending love hydrangea card

I wanted the flower to be the star of the show so I used a soft blue gingham paper for the bottom and a tiny dot for the dividing border.I used a embossing folder for the top to add some interest. I used JustRite's Botanical Medallions stamp set for the hydrangea. I colored it with Copic markers and then added a small dot of white from a gel pen in the flowers centers. I air brushed around the flower before I took it out of the die.I diecut a mat with a pretty edge on it as well as a mat for the saying.( JustRite Your special Day) I stamped the lace boarder (JustRite Lace borders)  on the small dot paper as a transition from the top to the bottom of the card. It is a simple card but oh so pretty.

Oval poppies card

I like to do several cards when I get out a stamp set and this is one I did with the poppy stamp from Raisin Boats stamp set Blissful Blossom's #10237. I did this on water color paper and used water color pencils. I  corner rounded the mats and the card to help pull out the long oval shape I stamped the poppies on.
This is another card for Mod Squads Flower challenge. Same papers changed up with a different layout and design from the other card I did for this challenge.

Hexagon and flowers 2 challenges in one card

O.K. this is a combo of challenges one being for Moxie Fab's Hexagon challenge and the other is Mod Squad's Flower challenge. I must say I have not thought too much about using my Hexagon die set so this was a good kick in the pants to get it out and use it. I used Raisin Boat's Blissful Blossom's poppies flower.I stamped them on water color paper and then used  water color pencils to color them in. I stamped one extra and cut it out and then used foam tape to pop it up on the card for dimension.I die cut the flowers with the Hexagon as well as the aqua and black mats. I found a fun orange printed paper for the card background as well as a coordinating print for the stripe to put under the hexagon. I sponged the edge of the water color paper with black ink to pull out the black,I also did this on the cream and orange print paper. I added 3 small black rhinestones on the side. I stamped the Get well soon ( Raisin Boat) and die cut it with a small oval and edged it with black ink on a sponge also to tie in the black accents on the card. I love challenges they really make me go out of my norm. I like the results with these fun colors i came up with to go with my poppies.

A pocket warming Valentine

I saw this cut little heart hand warmer idea on pinterest  I change it up a bit and used my Accucut heart die and cut the hearts out of some pink fleece. I sewed mine by machine and added rice not beans.( I used a small funnel to fill them with my daughter holding the heart and then pushing down with a wood skewer to get the rice in all of the corners) You just pop them in the micro wave 15 -20 seconds and you have some fun little fat free Valentine gifts.
My daughter and I made a pair for each of her youth group leaders along with some Ghiradelli chocolate. She chose to make some pillow boxes Accucut die used and emboss them with a  heart embossing folder. She also cut the tags from the scraps.
It is a simple inexpensive gift the leaders loves ( many are collage students)
I hope you got some inspiration to make your own hand/pocket warmers.
Thanks for stopping in and have a Great Valentines Day. Stay safe and warm with all of this crazy weather.

I stamped the heart bouquet  ( a Gena K stamp )with grey ink and then used my momento markers to do a water color look by scribbling on the inside cover and then pick up the ink with a dove blender pen and use it to color in the heart, steam and bow. I added the saying with the grey ink. I layered it with a red mat. I embossed the card front with a simple line frame embossing folder. I used a glitter pen to go over the heart flowers.I like how this simple design turned out.
This is made for the Mod Squad hearts and glitter challenge. I love all of the cards on the challenge, be sure to check them out for yourself.

Glittered love

I have had fun playing around with different colors for my Valentine cards this year. This one is full of texture too. I embossed the ivory card stock with a Sizzix embossing folder. I stamped the aqua blue paper with a JustRite background stamp and coco brown ink. I die cut the edge with a spellbinders die and then I rubbed the edge with a sponge and some of the brown ink. I die cut the lacy heart from brown card stock. I stamped some of the aqua blue with a different JustRite background stamp . I then die cut it with a heart die and edged it with the sponge and brown ink.I die cut the word love ( paper smooches die) I then layered things and attached them to the card. I used a glitter pen  and went over the word love.
I made this card for Mod Squads Hearts and glitter challenge. Be sure to pop over and see all of the fun cards over at this fun new challenge blog.

Sweet Tweet Valentine card

This is a fun and bright Valentine card I made with a fun Raisin Boat stamp from Tree's company #10200 I stamped it with grey momento ink and colored it with Copic markers. I added the Sweet Tweet saying with Lipstick red memonto ink. I added some glitter to the wings with a glitter pen.I die cut the bird and mats with spellbinders die's. I cut a stipe of blue dot paper and marked where it would go on the bottom of my page and then embossed the x's and o's above and below where it would go.For a pop of red I added a piece of 1/4" wide red dot washi tape above and below the embossed  lines. I stamped Hugs and Kisses( Raisin Boat Love Letters # 10226) with the Lipstick red momento ink and then went over it with the glitter pen. I punched holes on each side of the red mat and attached 2 aqua eylets on each side. I put a red bakers twine through them and attached the matted bird to the card.
I made this for Raisn Boats Valentine Challenge # 19  and Mod Squad challenge ( hearts and glitter)

JustRite aqua and kraft card

I was playing around again with my JustRite back ground stamps and I tried this pretty aqua blue embossing powder on kraft paper.I kind of like the look.I stamped the background using JustRites  Garden Gate background stamp with versa mark ink and then embossed it with the aqua blue embossing powder. I stamped one of JustRites Lace Borders on Kraft paper and embossed it with the Aqua blue embossing powder. I then stamped a  retired doily  stamp on Kraft paper and embossed it also. I die cut the stamped doily and also a aqua blue mat with spellbinder's die's. I cut a mat of the same aqua blue paper a bit bigger then the kraft with lace on it. I layered everything on the card using foam tape to raise up the matted doily. I also added a small blue dot I had from Michell's.
This is a really pretty looking card and super easy to do. I plan on playing around with some other color combo's to see what else I can come up with.
This is  one more card I did for JustRite stamps blog background challenge.Be sure to check out all of the other great cards.
Thanks for stopping.

A Blue Valentine Card?

I was playing around with my Elegant fronds background stamps from JustRtie stamps because they have a background challenge going on over on their blog.I had this pretty aqua blue paper in my scrap bin and decided to see what it looked like with brown. I must say I liked it and the blue Valentine card was born. I stamped the brown momento ink on the aqua blue paper ( I think it was a Bazzill paper) I cut it a tad smaller then my card front and attached it to the card. I die cut the ivory lacy heart and then the blue background heart and lastly I cut the filigree heart (Spellbinders die's)from gold paper as well as the word love ( paper smooches)
I put it all together and it made a pretty and fast Valentine or Wedding card.
I am entering this over at Mod Squad Challenge blog and I CASED this card from a card Sue VAn De Vusse did  http://stamptv.ning.com/photo/from-the-bottom-of-my-heart. I also have entered this on JustRite stampers background stamp challenge and also Stamp T.V.'s Valentine challenge.
  Thanks for stopping.

Wishing you Happiness card

This is a card I did to show off the background stamp( JustRite background stamp Elegant fronds). I stamped the card with Angel pink momento ink and then edged it with brown ink and a sponge. I stamped the word  stamp ( Botanical Medallion and banners ) and the back ground stamp on a scrap of pink paper. I die cut a heart from the background stamp and then die cut the words and I also stamped the saying Wishing you... on pink paper with the brown in and I edged all of them with brown ink and a sponge. I layer things on the side of the card using foam tape to add dimension to the hearts.I wrapped a sheer ribbon around the card with a small bow on the right side.
I made this card for JustRites background challenge and Stamp T.V.'s Valentine challenge.
Be sure to pop over and see the other fun and fancy cards the other designers  have made.

I embossed half the card with an embossing folder and added a fun Kraft and white word paper on the bottom.( Bo Bunny) I added a stripe of red card stock to divid the 2 and a few more red pearls.
I hope you find some time to play with your heart stamps and dies. It is good for your soul to play with hearts.

Soft pink filligree hearts card

This card is similar to my gold filigree card in design. I used Angel pink momento ink for the background using the Elegant Fronds background stamp by JustRite stamps again. This time I did not go all the way to the edge I left some ivory showing and die cut it with a spellbinders edge die. I put a pretty pink ribbon along the edge and then some pink paper on the inside page to help show off the intricate cuts of this border die. I die cut the hearts from the ivory paper that was also stamped with the background stamp. I then die cut the Scalloped hearts from the same pink paper I used on the side of the card. I then added a small pearl flower in the center of the hearts.
This would be a nice Valentine card or Wedding card.
I will be entering this over at JustRites background challenge and Stamp T.V.'s Valentine challenge.
I am going to be able to restock my wedding cards when I am done with all of the fun Heart cards I am making.
  Thanks again for stopping.

Golden filligree hearts card

This is such a pretty elegant card great for Valentines Day,a wedding ,or a 50th Anniversary card. It was fast and easy to make. I stamped the background stamp ( JustRite Elegant Fronds) on a pearl paper with versa mark ink and then I embossed it with gold embossing powder. I also did the same on some scraps, which I die cut with a spellbinders heart die.I die cut the pearl paper with a scalloped rectangle spellbinder die as well as a gold card stock with a rectangle spellbinder die. They were all layered on the white card bace and small pearl flowers were attached to the center of the hearts that I layered on the card with mats.
I wish the picture would really highlight how pretty the pearl paper is with the gold embossing.
I will be entering this into JustRites Background challenge and Stamp T.V.s Valentine Challenge.
  Thank you again for stopping.

Bear hugs Valentine treat

I just sent off the Valentine treats I did for my daughters little gymnasts she teaches. I used a fun die from Accucut that looks like a small paper bag.( Bag Sleeve) I cut it from some fun pink paper and then used a embossing folder with x's and o's for a fun dimensional background. I cut some strips of printed paper  and some brown for a mat.I attached it to the card/bag in the middle. I then die cut the circles using a Spellbinders die. ( use wax paper to help the small openings come out easier) I stamped the bear and the words Bear Hugs and the tiny hearts on the circle around the edges.I used Raisin Boat stamp set # 10200 Tree's Company) I then stamped the bear on tiny printed paper and cut them out.( I do this when I am watching T.V.) I did color the inside of the ears with a pink and used a glue pen to put some brown flocking on their noses. Now I attached the circles on the side of the card/bag and then I used foam tape to attach the bear on top of where I stamped it on the circle.
I put in a valentine pencil and some pixy stixs as well as a Fun Dip. That should be enough sugar to make them fun to have around, don't you think.
Well I have a few more Valentine treats almost done to share with you but that is it for tonight.
I hope you stay warm and safe with this crazy winter weather we are having in the mid west.
Take care and thanks for stopping.

Jar full of kisses sweet and simple

I stamped this jar (Sealed with a kiss # 10230 Raisn Boat stamp set) and then used a masking technique. first I stamped the flower heart( Raisin Boat # 10059 Playing Cupid) and then  to put in the lips ( kisses) I choose a soft petel pink ink from Momento ink. I stamped and cut out  the heart from post it notes so I had some sticky on the back of it. I then stamped the lips and used some post it notes to cover the edges of the jar and the heart I had cut out so I would not stamp on top of the jar edges or the heart. I then cut out the jar and tied a pretty pink bakers twine around the top.
The card is Brighton Beach white heavy weight paper ( It embossed the best if you ask me) I used a letter script embossing folder.I used some foam dots to give the jar some dimension and make it pop on top of the card.I almost forgot I added some dots of Glitter in the center of the flowers with Viva Glitter pen.
I hope you find some time to play with hearts and lace and flowers.
Thanks for stopping in.

Corner Embossed Valentine card

I love the corner embossing folders they are so elegant. I used this one with a heart I stamped and colored with Copics and then die cut with some spellbinders dies. The heart stamp is from a fun Valentine set by Raisin Boat called Playing Cupid  I added some centers to the flowers with a pearl pen. This would make a great wedding card too.Think about changing up the colors to soft blue or lavender it would really change up this simple elegant card. It is a fast and easy card too.So you can make several in no time.
Well that's it for today. I hope you got a tad bit inspired to get out your stamps to play.
Thanks for stopping in.

A pretty little wedding card with a hint of blue

I love to color just watching T.V. or when we are on the 2 1/2 hour drive to our family so I end up with colored thing waiting to be made into a card some day. Well I finally made this cute couple into a card. I die cut the filligree with a pale blue paper and then used the oval die to cut out my couple. I added some glitter and a spot of pearls and I like the results.
Do you color and have a stash of images ready to make into cards? Maybe today is the day you make some cards??
